Director duo John Boisen and Björn Fävremark are based in Gothenburg, the music capital of Sweden, where they started their career making music videos for a variety of Swedish artists and bands.

”We were both wanting to be filmmakers, but it was our common music interest that really got us working together initially. Instead of starting a band we decided to go ahead and shoot videos for bands, basically.”

Gradually, they began to work in several different segments; commercial films, short fiction and documentaries. What they believe have defined their filmmaking is a documentary basis for storytelling, with a cinematic visual style.

"We have always enjoyed working with real people and tell real stories, beyond that you can choose within which framework you decide to tell the story. Our position is that it is possible to make an interesting portrait of just about anyone, it's all about finding the right angle."

John and Björn have won awards for their feature documentaries, short films and commercial projects. Their primary base have been Scandinavia but they have shot projects all around the world. In recent years they have focused more on fiction, and more specifically developing thriller and horror projects.
